LODDON Shire has warned that building permit approvals will be delayed while council’s priority was on the secondary impact assessments on buildings affected by the recent floods. Mayor Dan Straub said on Tuesday: “Council’s municipal building Surveyor my not be available at all times for inspections. While council will endeavour to have a second person available for inspections, thismay not always be the case as these assessments continue.” Council said an alternative to council’s surveyor was for people to consider using private building surveyors.
