INGLEWOOD has put the horror draw behind it with the seal cracking win last Saturday.

Now with pep in their step, the Blues can string two together when then venture up to John Forbes Oval this Saturday. Another four points and hopefully a match where they can keep blooding the youngsters coming out of the Lamprell nursery.

I won’t be there though, it’s into Greater Western Bendigo for me where Marong takes on the undefeated Bridgewater.

Was Marong really that bad last Saturday against Pyramid Hill? Will the four-time premiers bounce back against a Mean Machine that’s be doing enough to win in the opening rounds?

Somethng tells me Sharp will be the difference at Malone Park where the scoreboard will be in Bridgewater’s favour.

A big match up at Macorna where the welcome at the gate

will be as friendly as that offered at home by Newbridge.

Notch up the win and Macorna stays on track to compete for a spot in the finals. Newbridge may struggle on its maiden appearance up north, and missing a few key players, could find the Mac and Cheese Tigers a bigger mouthful than their donuts.

Also important one at Janiember Park, Serpentine has to win over Maiden Gully to have any pathway to going higher up the ladder.

Finally, Pyramid Hill will be simply too strong for Calivil when they travel to Rodeo Park.
