MORE than two thirds of the region’s October rainfall was recorded in one day as Loddon towns had another month of below-average falls.
Only Mincha and West Prairie bucked the trend - Mincha recording 45.2 for the month compared with an October average of 36.7mm while there was 62.3mm at West Prairie.
At Inglewood, 28.8mm was tipped from the gauge in October compared with an average of 43mm while Wedderburn had 33.6mm with the highest daily fall of 22.4mm on October 4.
Dunolly recorded 33mm compared with the monthly average of 46.9mm while Charlton had 30.2 compared with the October average of 39.4mm.
Falls on October 4 in the region ranged between 20mm and 56mm
