Bridgewater Caravan Park has again fallen to a major Loddon River flood.
Water came to within centimetres of the main reception building where there were frantic efforts yesterday afternoon to sandbag the entrance area.
Wendy James has said today: "We spent yesterday at the caravan park getting prepared for the community to be flooded again. Our managers Rhonda anmd Darren Marshall were absolutely amazing considering the upsetting set of circumstances they were in. We all worked to move equipment to safe ground and sandbagging the office and the house in the hope that we could keep the water away from these buildings.
"Whilst the rest of the park was under water, it would help not to have these two buildings affected. It was not until this morning that we received the amazing news that the water had not got into the office and house.
"The clean-up process will become clear in the near future and everyone will be contacted who have bookings at Bridgewater, we will appreciate your patience."
