THE Loddon Valley League home and away season wrapped up at the weekend with Mitiamo minor premiers in senior football and A Grade netball.

The two teams have maintained form throughout the season, overcoming byes and abandoned rounds in a staggered playing routine. The footballers went through undefeated, the netballers dropping just one game.

On Saturday, the Superoos netballers were everywhere in their clash TAC round against Bridge-water. Among consistent players was wing defence Britt Fitzpatrick who is in her first year with the club.

And Mitiamo’s stop-start season now continues, sitting out the first week of finals to see who they will play in the second semis.

In other weekend matches, Pyramid Hill overcame a gritty Bears Lagoon Serpentine in the football.
