WE’RE putting a bit of focus on The Vale this week. You know, Korong Vale that is not like it used to be when the trains stopped daily and carried more passengers south before the days of cost-of-living pressure free public transport.
LOCAL lad Len has been causing quite a few stirs since the hours before April 1 with his wit. Readers may remember his viral online post about the hotel becoming a boarding house that fooled many a person.
NOW he has struck again. The football club is being resurrected, according to his “fake news” images. Started a few squabbles about The Vale’s return playing strip. He had ditched the old colours (a few variations over the years) and donned some locals in the doctored pic with the yellow and black of Richmond (OTF is not saying boo on the latter).
IT’S all a bit fun says Len. “My posts are lighting up like Luna Park ... seems some people are taking comic relief quite seriously.”
