KINGOWER has emerged from the weekend's Upper Loddon Cricket Association round as new flag favourites.

They recovered after floundering early in the face of a bowling blitz from Wedderburn and then quickly accounted for the visitors.

And in one of the biggest upsets of the season, Boort-Yando has defeated Arnold.

It's Arnold's third defeat in four rounds after earlier setting the association benchmark.

Boort-Yando may be on the bottom of the ladder and missed playing the previous round unable to muster a side but that proved no impediment to claiming a big scalp on Saturday.
