No trains on Swan Hill line this weekend
Bushfires have impact rail services on the Swan Hill line this weekend.
There will be significant impacts to V/Line services on the Bendigo, Echuca, Swan Hill and Albury lines this weekend due to bushfires.
No V/Line train or replacement coach services will be operating to Bendigo, Echuca, Swan Hill or Albury. Swan Hill services stop at Pyramid Hill.
V/Line tonight said: "Please avoid travel on these lines while crews work to assess damage and restore full services.
"Scheduled coaches connecting to stations on these lines that are still operating will not connect to a train or replacement service. Select coach services may be cancelled at short notice or may not service select stops due to road closures or emergency services requests.
"Passengers are advised that a very limited number of replacement coaches will be running between Southern Cross and Kyneton (not stopping at Footscray and Watergardens).
"Due to the very limited coach replacement service between Southern Cross and Kyneton, passengers are advised to avoid travelling if possible, and to expect significant delays to their journey due to a number of road closures through the area impacted by fire."
