ACQUI Verley had just finished delivering the last of her summer sauces when devastation hit: Ezy-Sauce had disappeared from supermarket shelves.
Jacqui, of Boort, had boiled up 12 batches of sauce after picking tomatoes at the local hockey annual fundraiser.
And with Ezy-Sauce a sure way to good sauce-making for generations, it had been a breeze in the kitchen for Jacqui before delivering bottles of the bright red condiment to local residents.
“I’m devastated ... shattered that production of Ezy-Sauce has stopped,” she said.
