LODDON Shire councillors headed ‘in camera’ on Tuesday to discuss who will be mayor for the final year of their term.
Setting the formal date to elect the next mayor was a confidential item at the end of their monthly meeting. Terrick Ward’s Cr Dan Straub has been mayor for the past two years.
Local government elections will be held across Victoria next October to elect councillors for new four-year terms.
