Newbridge Anzac Service

A HEAVY downpour saw Newbridge’s Anzac Day Service relocated from the town’s war memorial to the hall.
Despite the poor weather, the hall was filled with people wanting to pay their respects.
Guest speaker Arthur Harrison shared his experience on the Kokoda Track while Rochelle Collins recited the Anzac Requiem.
Representatives of local organisations then braved the rain to lay wreaths at the monument.
The service concluded with a morning tea.
