A NEW contractor will be responsible for cleaning public toilets across the Loddon from next month.

The changeover comes after performance frustrations for Loddon Shire Council and complaints from visitors and businesses at the cleanliness of toilets.

Council director operations Steven Phillips said the new contract included added performance requirements and incentives.
