A MAJOR residential sub-division at Bridgewater could be given the tick by Loddon Shire Council this year.

The development, if approved, would have 34 lots ranging in size from 700 square metres to 1400 square metres.

Land surveyor Josh Cummins has submitted the planning application for Bridgewater on Loddon Property Pty Ltd for land on the Bendigo edge of town.

Mr Cummins said: “(The sub-division) will provide an opportunity for people to live within the township and take advantage of future employment opportunities that will be generated as a result of ongoing commercial, industrial and agricultural development in the region.”
