MUBARAK Meera Sahib has been promoted to director of clinical services at Boort District Health.
His appointment to the senior role was announced this week by chief executive officer Donna Doyle who held the position until appointed CEO earlier this year.
Donna said: “We are thrilled to have Mubarak moving into the executive team at Boort District Health.
“He has been wonderful as nurse unit manager over the last four years,” she said.
“Mubarak brings a vision and an investment to the new role for the team and the culture of our hospital with a real forward plan.”
Originally from India, Mub-arak and his family last year became Australian citizens in a ceremony conducted by Loddon Shire and streamed to residents at BDH.
He is also involved in the community, plays badminton and sees a future for his family in Boort.
