SHELBY Giorlando has been selected to play for Australia in the national under 16 academy’s European tour.

The Wedderburn College student will tour Belgium in June and July.

It will be the first overseas competition for the multiple Victorian and national junior team representative.

Shelby’s touring selection is the latest achievement in a hockey career that began with the town’s minkey hockey program as a primary school student.
