Musical elves making melodies

THE sounds of Christmas are reverberating across Loddon communities and musicians Lou Green and Morgan Harrold are the heartbeat of carols and songs.

Their pair helped set the festive scene for the Wedderburn Christmas Arts festival, combining as a musical duo for the first time.

For Serpentine’s Lou on guitar and Wedderburn College teacher Morgan on keyboards, it was the start of a busy few weeks performing at community Christmas gatherings.

Lou will be leading singing at tonight’s Bridgewater Christmas party and then tomorrow in Boort.

“I’d never performed with Morgan before and it was a real delight. She’s pretty good on the keyboard,” said Lou who has several more Christmas engagements this year.

And for Morgan, there’s an equally busy run to Christmas with many school performances.
