CATALYST Metals has met with government and community stakeholders to progress plans for an underground exploration tunnel at Mitiamo.
The company said last week that technical and environmental studies had also been made.
“Completion of project development work for the exploration tunnel during the quarter will allow for a works plan submission to the Victorian Government in the September quarter,” Catalyst said in its report to the Australian Stock Exchange.
“With the conclusion of the drilling season, Catalyst is on track to complete a JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate at Four Eagles (this year).
“Catalyst believes this will be the first of a number of resource estimates.”
The company report strong drill results during the quarter at the Four Eagles, including intersections of up to 150g/t.
It said the JORC resource would underpin a decision on whether to establish an exploration tunnel to enable another ramp up in drilling.
