Miti's big golf day

GOLFERS from across country Victoria have competed in the annual Mitiamo tourament.

Organisers again reported strong entries for all events.

Clubs represented included Bendigo, Quarry Hill, Lockington, Bamawm, Rochester, Campaspe, Elmore, Inglewood, Raywood, Neangar Park and Shepparton

John Hellsten, at age 91, played in his 60th consecutive Mitiamo tournament and hit off 91 the stick.

The ladies’ four-ball best-ball event was won by Marlene Kelly and Heather Martin 44 points.
