INGLEWOOD put any concerns about its percentage to bed with a massive 155-point win over Mitiamo.

The Blues added a healthy 15 per cent to its tally and they now have a 12 per cent gap over Macorna.

More importantly, Inglewood extended its percentage lead over sixth-placed Maiden Gully – effectively the Woodies now have a two-game margin with four rounds to play all but ensuring that they will play finals.

Mischa Fraillon might be the smallest player in the competition, but he plays an outsized role in front of the sticks. His 10 goals against the Superoos took him to 33 for the season in 13 games, with his ability in the air and on the deck a real bonus for the side.

Daniel Godden usually provides a marking target up forward, but he has missed the last two weeks, with coach Jackson Hood playing in attack against Macorna two rounds ago.

Hood, though, was also absent against Mitiamo, so the attack rested largely on Fraillon, Kai Cavallaro (five goals) and Lachlan Harris (four).

Gabe Nevins’ running power from half-back, allied to his kicking ability, is a key to the Woodies’ finals chances, and he was outstanding against the Superoos.

His ability to break the lines with his booming left boot is something few clubs can boast of.

Miti was without inspirational skipper Luke Lougoon, who has played only eight games this season due to recurring injuries.

The Superoos also missed young star Joey Mizzi against Inglewood, and they are a side that can’t afford to be without their best players.
