LODDON Shire’s new local law was adopted by councillors at their meeting last week.
Only minor changes were made for clarity and consistency after community consultation on the new law that rolls previous local laws into one document.
Six people attended a drop-in session at Serpentine, four at Pyramid Hill and one person at each of Bridgewater and Newbridge. Three written submissions were also received with issues raised during consultation included wording of new laws on camping.
“Some minor administrative changes have been made throughout the local law document with some rephrasing or alternate words being used that do not change the overall intent of the clause,” officers told council.
