Mick gives important tips on Safety
HOME safety was top of the list for members of Kooyoora Women’s Network for their dinner last Wednesday.
HOME safety was top of the list for members of Kooyoora Women’s Network for their dinner last Wednesday.
Bridgewater policeman Mick Balazs was guest speaker, sharing tips on protecting homes and property.
Senior Constable Balazs told the dinner people should contact police whenever they saw suspicious activity.
He said keys and handbags should not be in sight at home or in their cars.
Among tips are to lock all doors including the internal and external garage doors, windows, gates and sheds, and remove any spare keys hidden outside your home.
People are also encouraged to lock their car, even when parking at home, in their garage, or leaving the car for a moment.
Kooyoora Women’s Network was established in 2008 to be workable network meeting the needs and interests of rural women aand draws members from southern Loddon town.
