BRIDGEWATER trotted out their vintage style of determined football to pull off an win over Inglewood in today's Loddon Valley elimination final.
The Mean Machine, as they did last year, went into the match as underdogs and had a surrendered their lead for the first time mid-way through the final term.
Harry Donegan, Charlton Hindle, Lachlan Cohen andHarry McKinley had been key to the Mean Machine's fortunes and set about regaining the momentum that saw Bridgewater advance to the first semi-final with a 22-point win over Inglewood making its first finals appearance in 20 years.
Bridgewater's victory had shades of 2022 when they caused multiple upsets in the finals to play off in the season decider. Today, that finals experience proved the difference.
