LV's happy wanders are champions
FATHER, two sons and two friends have teamed for Loddon Valley to claim a divisional championship at Tennis Country Week in Shepparton.

THe quinteT of Tim Wagner, Brodie and Riley Wagner, Pete Gargen and Leon Mudie took out the Section 16 final at what is claimed to be the world’s largest lawn tennis tournament.
They were one of four Loddon Valley Wanderer teams competing over the week and defeated Traralgon Gippersin the final.
Stan Mann, who was made a legend of Country Week, again took part in the tournament.
Wanderers team members donned special T-shirts for their social functions this year -emblazoned with a caricature of Stan.
With the 106 courts and 258 teams, the 2026 edition of Country Week was the biggest yet with players from Australia, New Zealand and Britain.
The 2027 tournament will be played in Albury and Wodonga.
