Loddon Shire Council is pleased to support a range of community-led events through Council’s Community Flood Recovery Program, jointly funded by the Australian and Victorian Governments.
Twenty-three community recovery grants have been awarded to allow our Loddon communities to build and maintain strong relationships and connectedness, and support a more resilient future across our shire.
From Christmas gatherings to comedy, art therapy to youth concerts, the Loddon Shire communities have shown great dedication, innovation and thoughtfulness in their applications. Totalling just over $66,000, the strength and diversity of applications received are most commendable. Loddon Shire Council wishes to acknowledge the shared vision and advocacy of Emergency Recovery Victoria in providing these funds which allow for meaningful and empowering community-led activities which support recovery.
