LODDON communities have raised more than $23,000 for this year’s Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday appeal.
Boort topped the town list where Amity Club members spent the day tallying donations collected over the last 12 months.
In Tarnagulla the township collection raised $488 and the fire truck tin rattlers put another $869 into appeal coffers.
Donations were also collected in Newbridge and at Laanecoorie Caravan Park.
Inglewood brigade had youngsters joining members as they drove town streets for the morning tin collection.
Local appeal co-ordinator Elissa Wilson said it was great to have children part of the local appeal effort.
