COLIBAN Water is pleading with residents this afternoon in Bridgewater, Inglewood, Wedderburn and Korong Vale to limit of water.
Treatment plants for the towns are "are not operating as usual and you may be experiencing reduced water pressure". It said plants were still without power this morning.
The water authority has not contacted the local Loddon Herald but says communications with customers is currently difficult.
It says residents should limit all non-essential water use until power is restored and our plants can recover lost supply.
"With no power, we are conscious communication with customers in affected areas may become more difficult as time goes on," Coliban has said.
And while some phone and internet connectivity has been hit after Tuesday's winds and warm temperatures, Coliban still wants customers to check its online platforms for information.
The Loddon Herald is contacting Coliban for further information.
