LODDON Shire councillors have backed plans to apply for Sport and Recreation Victorian funds to upgrade lighting at Serpentine and Mitiamo recreation reserves.

Active Loddon recreation officer Paul Scullie told councillors at their meeting last week that lighting upgrades were needed at both reserves.
