Leak issues keep two pools shut
LEAKS will keep Pyramid Hill’s intermediate and toddler swimming pools closed over the Christmas break.
With temperatures in the 40s late last week, only the main pool was operational as Loddon Shire continues to investigate solutions.
A spokesman said on Friday: “Further rectification works are required to address defects identified in the toddlers’ and intermediate pools. The full scope of works is still being assessed as investigations continue.
“The issues identified during seasonal preparation have proven more complex than initially anticipated, requiring additional investigation, technical assessment, and planning.
Works are commencing on a temporary solution for the intermediate pool, which we hope allow this pool to reopen in the near future.
“A temporary solution is not available for the toddlers’ pool, as the area requiring repair involves significant deconstruction to access the affected infrastructure.”
