Latest flood warning advice for the Loddon River has been issued by the Bureau of Meteorology this afternoon.
Minor flooding along the Loddon River downstream of Laanecoorie is likely to ease during Thursday evening. Minor flooding is likely to continue at downstream of Loddon Weir during Thursday into Friday.
In the 24 hours to 2:00 pm Thursday, no rainfall has been recorded across the Loddon River catchment. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Goulburn Murray Water advise that Laanecoorie Reservoir is full and passing inflows and that the situation is being closely monitored.
Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir:
Minor flooding is occurring along the Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir.
The Loddon River D/S Laanecoorie is currently at 1.55 metres and steady, with minor flooding. The Loddon River D/S Laanecoorie is likely to fall below the minor flood level (1.50 m) Thursday evening.
Loddon River Loddon Weir to Kerang:
Minor flooding is occurring at downstream of Loddon Weir. River level rises are expected to extend further downstream over the next few days but flooding is not expected at Appin South or Kerang.
