TWO properties at Burkes Flat have sold for what auctioneer Luke Nevins says are record prices for the district.
The properties went under the hammer last Thursday with local buyers expanding their footprint in the Fentons Creek-Logan area.
“Land in this district is tightly held and rarely comes up for sale,” Mr Nevins said.
The 682-acre Wallis and Lindorff block sold for $3550 an acres while Brown’s 245 acres fetched $3950.
