ANDREW Kane leads Boort golf’s Men’s Championship by 11 strokes after the second round last Sunday.
Kane’s nett 75 took him to a two-round total of 146 shots, ahead of Stewart Tweddle on 157 and Damian Lanyon on 159.
Mark Perryman won on the day with a nett 69 playing off a handicap of 17. Tweddle’s nett 75 saw him share second place with Nathan Wright and Peter Eicher.
Andrew Kane won two of the nearest the pin prizes, with Joe Kane, Hamish Lanyon and Perryman taking out one each.
Eiicher leads the B Grade championship by nine strokes from Hamish Lanyon, with Wright in third place.
Damian Lanyon is on top of the Weaver Cup standings on 144, ahead of Wright on 151 and Andrew Kane on 152.
WEDDERBURN
Peter Sanderson has come out on top in round two of Wedderburn golf club’s championship.
Playing off a handicap of seven, he hit a nett 70 to win the A Grade competition ahead of Owen Bailey on 71.
Sanderson also took out the nearest the pin prize on the 13th hole.
B Grade was won by Ron Weston with a nett 72, one shot ahead of Keith Bird.
The best two shots on hole two prize went to Cam Taylor.
