Juniors spread awareness message
COMMUNITY safety and bushfire preparedness messages were promoted by Rheola Junior Fire Brigade members at an information evening on Monday.

Among the youngsters was Charmaine Soulsby who has just qualified as a firefighter and joined brigade members on the fire front when Rheola responded to a small fire last week.
The junior brigade hosted a community barbecue and distributed fire safety pamphlets to residents to raise fire and safety awareness.
During the year, the youngsters have participated in regular training sessions under the guidance of Mark Gilmore and displayed their skills with presentations at the Rheola Charity Carnival and Inglewood Alive!
Rheola is part of the CFA’s junior Volunteer Development Program for children aged from 11 to 15.
