Join volunteers in golden jamboree
NEW volunteers have been asked the join the rush for next month’s Wedderburn Minelab Detector Jamboree.

The Labor Day weekend drawcard will be organised for a final time by the original committee and members hope new volunteers will step forward to begin the transition to a new team.
A highlight this year will be the unveiling of the tourism committee’s Legacy of Legends silhoutte sculptures project.
The junior gold panning competition sponsored by the Inglewood and District Community Bank being held on the Saturday. with senior detector token hunts on both days with first prize a Minelab GPZ 7000 detector valued $10,799
Saturday afternoon will also see a senior gold panning knockout event.
Karen said:”The jamboree weekend was a big occasion for the town
“We’d love to have volunteers joining the team next month and hopefully, take the event into future years,” she said.
