Robins, who co-coached the Panthers to the flag in 2025, has spent the off-season mulling over his future following the appointment of James Flaherty as coach.

He retires after kicking more than 1000 senior goals and being part of eight premierships.

Robins, at 41, was named in the Loddon Valley Team of the Year last season after kicking 56 goals as a key forward.

He played with Bendigo Bombers in the VFL, Peel Thunder in the WAFL and Nightcliff in the NTFL along with stints at clubs throughout Victoria.

In five seasons with Marong, Robins played 73 games and booted 258 goals.
