WHEAT harvest is starting in some Loddon districts with reports of early quality being H2.
Some farmers in the Serpentine area reporting headers taking off six tonnes to the hectare.
That district completed canola harvest almost a fortnight ago.
However, the canola harvest continues is other areas of the Loddon.

At Borung, Phil Lines predicts he still has several weeks left and is running two headers in his paddocks.
“The quality is pretty good so far and on a par with last season,” he said at the weekend.
