BOORT’S Daryl Henderson won the level one award at Boort Lakeside Croquet Club annual golf croquet tournament at the weekend.
Competitors from around the state played on the club courts and adjoining bowling rinks and tennis courts were also adapted for croquet.
In Saturday’s singles play by Daryl, runner up was fellow Boort member Ian Potter. Level two was won by Ian Pitt (Ballarat Western), with Gordon Christensen (Ballarat Western) runner up. In level three, after a three-way play off, Lindsay Patullo (Charlton) won with Barry Dowling (Ivanhoe Park) runner-up.
Sunday saw four levels of doubles played. Level one was won by Ian Potter (Boort) and Naomi Patullo (Charlton) with Julie Beasley (Warragul) and Jill Graham (Echuca Moama) runners up.
