LODDON health services will co-design and pilot new health care strategies over the next two years to “future proof” the region.
Inglewood and District Health and Boort District Health will be part of the Murray PHN Integrated Health Network Alliance announced last week.
“It is time for us as the rural health providers in the region to really start thinking innovatively and outside the square in regard to how we can recruit, retain and sustain our workforce,” said Boort CEO Donna Doyle.
“Attracting health professionals to rural areas has long been a challenge and now it is becoming even more critical to look deeper in order to protect the health and wellbeing of our communities.
