Hearts for Harcourt: Bank gives $30,000 for recovery
INGLEWOOD and District Community Bank has been are the forefront of Loddon support for the bushfire-affected community of Harcourt.

The bank’s board last Thursday approved a $30,000 donation to assist with recovery in the town where more than 50 homes were destroyed.
“We are saddened by the devastation of the Victorian fires, especially to our neighbours in the Harcourt area,” said board member Stewart Luckman.
Mr Luckman, who was part of a relief strike team from Inglewood brigade in the days after the January 9 fire, said the donation was “neighbours helping neighbours”.
Ann Marie and Gary Davis of Campbells Forest, last Friday took their Little Sangria food van to Harcourt.
“For many this was the first time they have seen each other since that day, and it matters. Not for photo opportunities, speeches or big statements — just for being together, checking in on one another and sharing a meal,” Ann Marie said.
“We were grateful to be able to cook and share paella tonight, with ingredients generously donated by local businesses who care deeply about this community.”
Meanwhile, disaster recovery group Blazeaid opens its base near Harcourt today to assist with fence replacement.
