CROP harvesting has started across the Loddon but wet weather has already put farmers behind schedule,
The first grain was received at Graincorp’s Tandarra silo on Monday and just a few thousand tonnes have been delivered to its silos at Boort and Mitiamo.
Wet weather and cool overnight temperatures are delaying harvests down the east coast.
Boort Grain Co-op manager Jon Bucknall said current weather had impacted the lowering of moisture content in canola and barley.
