NORTH Central has claimed two victories in the weekend’s junior hockey country championships.

Boort’s Luke Boyd and Harry Malone were in the gold medal-winning boys’ under 15 team.

They faced West Gippsland in the gold medal match - holding their nerve through the penalty shootout for a 5-4 win.

And in the under 15 girls, North Central defeated Geelong in the final 1-0.
