BOORT’S Gaye Sim took out the Kara Kara golf champion of champions bronze division title at Charlton on Tuesday.
Mandy Male, of Donald, won the silver division for her 14th champion of champion victory.
She played some spectacular golf and came home with a score of 40-77-117, eight shots ahead of Heather Hogan, Birchip 42-83-125 followed by Diane Johnson, Boort 45-81-126, Wendy Laffin Charlton 131 and Sharyn Erwin from St Arnaud 139.
In bronze division, Gaye Sims finished with 47-91 -138 followed by Julie McLennan 47-96-143, Diane Roberts from Charlton had 157 and Carolyn McHugh, Wedderburn 161.
Many, a life member of the Kara Kara association has moved from the area and a special presentation was made by vice-president Julie McLennan
