Full house at small hall show

BENDIGO vocalist Tarah Frawley set the mood for a night of nights in Tarnagulla’s Victoria Theatre when the Festival of Small Halls hit town on Friday.

BENDIGO vocalist Tarah Frawley set the mood for a night of nights in Tarnagulla’s Victoria Theatre when the Festival of Small Halls hit town on Friday.

She opened the show featuring international artists before a crowd of more than 80 people.

Loddon Shire Council brought the festival to local communities for a third year.

Southern Loddon Tourism supported the evening with a raffle raising funds for future events in the district.

Tarah was followed on stage by Canadian folk artist Irish Mythen and Kaurna Cronin.

And watching over all performers, were the miners from the 1850s depicted on the hall’s famous stage backdrop.
