Founding five are confirmed for under 14s
LODDON Valley’s new Under 14 football competition is likely to begin with just five clubs entered.

League chair Richard Hicks said the introduction of the Under 14 level was “a work in progress”.
Pyramid Hill, Inglewood, Macorna, Marong and Maiden Gully will field teams, with the hope of expansion in future years.
Bridgewater, which is trying to raise enough players to enter a side, is unlikely to be able to muster the numbers this season, he said.
“It’s still five teams at this stage,” Hicks said.
“We will go ahead regardless – if a club wants to play, a match will go ahead.”
The league is prepared to reduce the number of players needed for a game to proceed to ensure there are no forfeits.
The fixture will be released soon, with every attempt made to match Under 14 and Under 18 games with the senior draw.
