Flush with ducks: Quacking sounds of Christmas
LOCAL bucks and boosting the coffers of Boort Tourism Development to fund future projects will be flushed down the drain this Christmas.
The group’s new president Bradley Haw has hooked up with Amity to run a rubber duck race as part of the town’s Christmas street party in December.
He said ducks were being sold ahead of being flushed down the gutters of Godfrey Street. The winning duck will earn its owner $1000 to spend at local businesses.
