Minor flooding is continuing downstream of Loddon Weir during Friday into Saturday. Minor flooding has eased along the Loddon River downstream of Laanecoorie, the Bureau of Meteorology said this afternoon
The BoM in its latest update said:
In the 24 hours to 2:00 pm Friday, no significant rainfall has been recorded across the Loddon River catchment. No significant rainfall is forecast for the next few days.
Goulburn Murray Water advise that Laanecoorie Reservoir is full and passing inflows and that the situation is being closely monitored.
Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir:
Minor flooding has eased along the Loddon River downstream of Laanecoorie.
The Loddon River D/S Laanecoorie is currently at 1.15 metres and falling, below the minor flood level.
Loddon River Loddon Weir to Kerang:
Minor flooding is occurring at downstream of Loddon Weir. River level rises are expected to extend further downstream over the next few days but flooding is not expected at Appin South or Kerang.
