Minor flooding has eased along the Loddon River downstream of Loddon Weir. Minor flooding may extend downstream to Appin South during today, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Renewed river rises are possible with the forecast rainfall.
In the 24 hours to 3:00 pm Thursday up to 15 mm of rainfall has been observed in the Loddon River catchment. Rainfall totals of 15-20 mm are forecast for the remainder of Thursday into Friday.
Goulburn Murray Water advise that Laanecoorie Reservoir is spilling and that the situation is being monitored.
Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir:
Minor flooding has eased along the Loddon River Laanecoorie to Loddon Weir.
The Loddon River downstream (D/S) Laanecoorie is currently at 0.91 metres and steady, below the minor flood level.
Loddon River Loddon Weir to Kerang:
Minor flooding has eased at Loddon Weir and minor flooding may extend downstream to Appin South.
The Loddon River at Appin South is currently at 2.62 metres and rising, below the minor flood level. The Loddon River at Appin South may reach the minor flood level (2.80 m) during Friday.
