Five new COVID cases have been recorded in the Loddon Shire.
Today's State Government statistics show there are currently 41 active local cases.
Meanwhile, the Government this morning announced that nurses, teachers, ambulance officers, police, firefighters and other public sector workers would have paid time off to make it as easy as possible for them to get their third vaccine dose.
Public sector employees can now access up to half a day’s paid time off to get their third dose, as was the arrangement when receiving their first two doses.
