A driver was towing a trailer in Brooke Street Inglewood on Sunday when the axel failed causing the trailer to swing into four parked cars causing extensive damage, police said.
A driver who was in one of the stationary vehicles was taken to Bendigo hospital for treatment.
EARLIER
REPORTS have been received of a three-car smash in Brooke Street Inglewood late Sunday afternoon.
It is believed at last one person is being treated with police vehicles and ambulances on the scene, according to witnesses.
One witness said: "There appears to be four vehicles damaged when the trailer being towed by a grey jeep towing a speedway car appeared to lose a wheel.
"The owner of the red car, a female was sitting in her car when the accident occurred."
The accident happened about 5.40pm.
