First steps at school and kindergarten

WINTER Hayes had her first day of kindergarten on Tuesday at the new Wedderburn Early Learning Centre.

Winnie shared the excitement of the day with mum Rachel and sisters Pollyanna and August.

The start of kindergarten sessions across the Loddon follows dozens of eager youngsters stepping into school classrooms as students for the first time.

Today’s Loddon Herald has a special pictorial feature of the region’s prep students.

The largest enrolment is 14 preps at Wedderburn College.
