THE Loddon system has been given a 19 per cent low-reliability water share by the Northern Victoria Resource Manager.
The first allocations for Loddon and Goulburn systems were announed on Monday.
Both systems already have 100 per cent high-reliability shares.
Resource Manager Mark Bailey: “Dry conditions through August and September increased demand for water, creating space in the dams.
“Rainfall in early October has refilled many of the major storages.
“The additional resource, together with the use, meant there was water available to increase seasonal determinations,” Dr Bailey said.
